Bass In Your Face

The Chænge played their first test gig at Hamburg's "Zur Seuten Deern" located in the heart of the notorious Reeperbahn district and it was a nice success. Florian Schirmacher immediately caught the crowd with his fascinating voice, Catharina Behr delivered the driving back beat on the drums and Mijk van Dijk finally dusted off his bass guitar again.
The trio will reappear in Hamburg on March 17th at Uebel & Gefaehrlich.
Are you ready for The Chænge?

The Chaenge LIVE

Besides his project mijkfunk, his label nuFunkFiles and his radio show motherfunk on BLN.fm, Mijk's latest enterprise is the exciting NuFunk band The Chaenge together with Florian Schirmacher, beloved singer of bands like Wareika, Federleicht and Hatikvah. The dynamic duo just finished recordings on their debut album Rebellion and is ready to take it on the streets and in the clubs. First sneek-peek show will be in Hamburg on Friday 11th 2011 in the club Zur Seuten Deern, right in the heart of the Reeperbahn. So if you happen to be in Hamburg this weekend, boogie down, join us and dance The Dance Electric!

motherfunk gets closer to the edit

This time it's all about edits on Mijk's show
motherfunk on BLN.fm. Mr. van Dijk dug out some nice gems from Soundcloud and the Blogs and talked to Alkalino and Jack Tennis.
And he'll drop favourite new tunes by Oliver, Cassette Schwarzenegger, StardonE and will grant a first glance on the great new album my Amalia on Tokyo Dawn Records.
Boogie down, funksters!
